Two days after dismantling the show, the Sailart 19 took to the water for the first time at the foot of the construction site in Germany on Lake Zülpich.
With its carbon sails, the Sailart 19 has quite a face! But these sails are just cut to present the boat at the show on the prototype, but they are not very advisable given their price on a unit of this type. The production units will have Dacron sails.

No surprise at the launch, this little sailboat sails well in its lines and meets its specifications. Only the announced weight of 730 kg is finally announced a little higher under the crane (790 kg). In spite of this, the Sailart 19, like the whole range, remains far below the competition. As an example among the small yachts, the Sailart 20 weighs 400 kg less than the Bénéteau Twenty..
The first French model of this beautiful motorized cruiser with an outboard motor is due to be delivered in June 2016. Its future owner is also planning numerous coastal cruises (Holland, Denmark...). Hence the interest to have a sailboat easily transportable.
