The XO 250 Open is a fast, rugged, yet sexy dayboat. Its aluminum hull gives it a distinctive silhouette and allows it to sail at high speed and comfortably. The XO 250 can reach 40 knots.
The Finnish shipyard took inspiration from the XO 240, but the deck layout has been optimized and the designers have come up with their own suspension seats. Their new, sportier look and suspension offer a smoother ride, even in rough conditions.
The cockpit is on the starboard side, protected by a large windshield, which reduces the effects of wind and spray. The architects have worked to make the sailing experience even more convenient and comfortable. Now, 8 people can enjoy a day at sea.
At the rear, the bench seat, which takes up the entire width of the boat, transforms into a sunbathing area and houses a locker to store the soft top. An interesting detail of the boat is the canopy that clips onto the windshield to completely close the cockpit. This allows for dry sailing, even with an Open. The lockers can be used for storage and as an option can become a refrigerator, for refreshments.
The driving experience has also been improved with better ergonomics, with more modern cockpit consoles with folding screens and larger plotters. The interior space is also larger.
A gangway gives access to the front cockpit where there is a V-shaped bench seat to enjoy the navigation.
