The Dazcat 1495 is an offshore cruising catamaran. It was developed for the Atlantic circuit and to participate in the Transatlantic and Royal Ocean Racing Club (RORC) races in the Caribbean. The D1495 can also be used for family cruising. Each boat can be customized according to the specificities he wants and the budget he has. Like all Dazcat boats, the weight has been centered as much as possible, making the boat comfortable to sail and reducing pitching considerably.

It can accommodate up to six crew members for an extended cruise. In its cruising version, the D1495 has two cabins in each hull as well as a large galley, a separate bathroom and a saloon that can be converted into a bunk. The cockpit is fully enclosed for safety and the boat is easily controlled with one hand. The seats and cockpit table are removable, to be removed or modified for racing. The cockpit can accommodate 6 to 8 people protected by a bimini.
