Take part in an idea competition to get an internship at MSC Croisière

The MCS Croisière company is organizing a big contest on social networks, to allow eight students, between 18 and 25 years old, to get a 6 months internship.

MCS Cruises is launching an ideas competition on social networks with the aim of recruiting eight students from four European countries (France, Italy, Germany, Spain) for a paid internship. By joining the company, they will participate in the development of the new ships that will be built over the next seven years.

This contest is open to students between the ages of 18 and 25 and is held on the interactive and fun website, Inner Island.

Create your cruise to land an internship

On the Inner Island website, students have to imagine their cruise according to four key points: destinations, food and beverage offers, entertainment and sports and wellness activities. Each participant will have to create his or her virtual island according to his or her tastes and preferences in order to illustrate his or her personal vision of the ideal cruise. It must take into account the experience on board, but also the ports of call. To do this, you will have to answer questions about your preferences and tastes or quickly solve logic games.

The eight candidates with the best proposals will be awarded a 6-month paid internship at MSC Cruises headquarters in their country of residence. The internship will start in September 2015.

Gianni Onorato, Chairman and CEO of MSC Cruises, says of the competition " Inner Island is much more than a hand out to the younger generation. We feel strongly about the obstacles that young Europeans face on their way to starting their careers and we want to give these talents a chance that it would be a shame to miss."

Although MSC Cruises places technology and innovation at the heart of its development strategy, it is still a family business. It is on the basis of this last value that it has launched this competition, convinced that it is necessary to "allow young talent to grow and, new ideas to come to fruition."
