22 - Dominique Rivard in 20 days 23 hours 19 minutes and 46 seconds

It was on November 23 at 1:19 minutes and 46 seconds that Dominique Rivard crossed the finish line in Pointe-à-Pitre. Residing in Marie-Galante, he received an incredible welcome, surrounded by local television and radio stations, all amidst a din of drums. " I missed a tactical move at the end when I had to stay in the North and I went too far Southâeuros¦ I had a bit of a hard time: I did an extra night of sleep! I feel really happy to be back with my little family: this is what I missed the most, to be with them. And the happiness of having reached the end: it's still a Route du Rhum, and at the risk of repeating myself, I'm going to be able to tattoo it on myself! It is indelible in my heart and in my body

23 - Maxime Sorel in 21 days 04 hours 42 minutes

The skipper of V & B-MS Sailing Team arrived in Guadeloupe on November 23 at 18 hours 42 minutes and 00 seconds. It was at the end that Maxime Sorel managed to gain some places by passing Lionel Regnier and Patrice Bougard between the Tête à l'Anglais and Gosier. " I'm glad I'm done because I had a lot of trouble! It was a great experience. I finished the race as I started: I took 35-40 knots in front of Ouessant and I took 45 knots in the channel of Saintes! It called me to orderâeuros¦ And then the final was super interesting since we joined Lionel (Regnier) and Patrice (Bougard): it was the icing on the cake with a little match-racing all along the island and I gained two places thanks to âeuros¦ And I am first Class40 "vintage"! First transatlantic race too: I didn't think it would take so long ."

24 - Patrice Bougard in 21 days 05 hours 24 minutes and 06 seconds

He arrived on November 23 at 19 hours 24 minutes and 06 seconds. He finished the race without a pilot and was passed by the young Maxime Sorel at the end but what he remembers is the powerful squalls in the Canal des Saintes. " Any worries? Yes: I was nicknamed Mac Gyverâeuros¦ I kept on tinkering. I wasn't there to make a score, but I did have some fun, because there was competition, the weather was bad and it was my last Rhum! The skipper was in good shape until yesterday: I lost my two pilots and since then I had to sleep for five minutes in 24 hours¦ I stopped the boat to rest a little and that's why I lost a place to Maxime."

25 - Lionel Regnier in 21 days 06 hours 24 minutes and 03 seconds

On November 23, at 20 hours 24 minutes and 03 seconds, Lionel Régnier completed the course. This Route du Rhum will have been difficult compared to 4 years ago. The wind, the rain, the weather conditions will have been the reason of Lionel's pleasure. " It was much harder than the last edition! Four years ago, we had nice trade winds where we could enjoy ourselves, but there was not much sun and when it was there, it was 35 knots! The sun, big spinnaker, fifteen knots of wind, that must have happened four-five hours over the whole crossing. The rest of the time, the question was what to do, what canvas to put, what will break? You can't be serene and you lower the cursorâeuros¦ It was less fun."

26 - Rodolphe Sepho in 21 days 18 hours 33 minutes and 11 seconds

The skipper of Voiles 44 arrived on November 24 at 08 hours 33 minutes and 11 seconds. The young 28 year old from Guadeloupe completed his first solo transatlantic race aboard the oldest boat in the Class40 fleet. "Thank you, thank you honestly for coming, it was really nice to see so many people. The whole race was great. I had fun from the beginning to the end. There were moments that were a bit more complicated with my morale wavering because the boat caused me some problems, she is not young anymore and required a lot of attention for the preparation. The last few hours were a bit tough, I had no electricity on board, no charts, nothing at allâ?¦"

27 - Philippe Fiston in 22 days 06 hours 04 minutes and 48 seconds

The Guadeloupean skipper finished his solo transatlantic race on November 24 at 20 hours 04 minutes and 48 seconds. Tired and moved, he was welcomed by an enthusiastic crowd. "I had so many problems! The goal was not this placeâeuros¦ During the whole crossing, it took my head and I had to let go when I arrived in Pointe-Ã -Pitre. I was well prepared physically and mentally, but there are parameters that you can't manage: I had a lot of technical problems and everything was gradually deteriorating. You have to put up with things that go wrong or that don't respond the way you want."

28 - Nicolas Thomas in 23 days 18 hours 32 minutes and 08 seconds

The West Indian skipper, originally from Les Saintes, arrived on November 26 at 08 hours 32 minutes and 08 seconds. Monopolized at the quay because of a long stopover, this young offshore talent managed to get back on track and win this 28 ème place. "The last mètres before the line were very longâeuros¦ The further I went, the less wind there was. But, I felt a great relief to have finally crossed that finish line and to know that I was going to touch down and meet up with my buddies. The last few miles were really the longest of my life. At the end of the day, I have gained a lot of experience from this race, my first solo transatlantic race. I made a few small mistakes, precisely because of a lack of experienceâeuros¦ But you have to start somewhere. The sporting result is not what I hoped for at the start of this Route du Rhum, but I put it into perspective, it is only good for the futureâeuros¦"
