Maxus Yachts presents its brand new Maxus 26

The first example of the Maxus 26 will be presented at the Nautic 2014 in its twin keel inboard engine version, specially developed for the French market, developed by the Catway/Northman tandem.

This latest model from Maxus Yachts is an intermediate version between the Maxus 24 and the Maxus 28 . Built by the Northman shipyard, it is intended for owners who want a non-transportable sailboat and are looking for a comfortable and high-performance product. Moreover, it keeps a sufficient size and an accessible price.

An improved design

The Maxus 26 brings a change in the design of Maxus Yachts boats and gives birth to a new range. The Northman shipyard has made changes to the features common to all Maxus. The lines are tighter and more contemporary, especially the side portholes on the roof. This new boat will be equipped with better integrated stainless steel parts, a new type of hull-deck assembly integrating a discreet but effective footbrace all around the deck, an evolving bilge and a composite delphinium.

A modular layout

Another new feature is that the Maxus 26 is available à la carte. Like the Maxus 24, it will be available in 4 appendage versions: twin keel, full dinghy, keelboat or lifting keel to adapt to all types of sailing and water conditions. 4 motorizations (outboard on chair, Inbord Sail Drive, Inbord with shaft line or outboard in well), to correspond to the budgets of each one and 4 interior arrangements make it possible to meet the desires of the owners. The standard version is open plan and can accommodate 1 or 2 closed cabins as well as a classic or counter-molded bathroom to accommodate a shower. An independent design firm has designed the interior space.
