The Pahana 80, a fast and transportable sailboat
Built according to the plans of the architect Erik Lerouge, the Pahana 80 is largely inspired by the Gaïa 80. Thanks to its transportable size, the Pahana 80 does not require a place in the port as it can be stored at home for winter storage. Moreover, it is fast and can withstand many sailing conditions thanks to its thin and light hull balanced in the meadow. As a cruise ship, it has a shallow draft. The Lerouge Twin Keel System provides satisfactory performance such as stability that supports a powerful rigging, low weight that allows the Pahana 80 to be towed easily, and dry-docking that requires no maintenance. The sail plan has a double deck rig with backstay and breeze staysail.
The panoramic roof provides excellent visibility and the ergonomic cockpit will delight the great helmsmen. Finally, the unobstructed bow sundeck allows you to enjoy sailing while admiring the waves and has a convenient anchor locker.
The Pahana 80 is available in four versions
The Pahana is available in four versions: as a cruiser, as a cruiser-racer with the carbon mast option, as a racing boat with a deep keel or as a day-boat with an enlarged cockpit.
The Pahana, a way to respond to the lack of space in ports
The Pahana 80, designed by Erik Lerouge, is a totally transportable sailing boat which answers the problems of space in ports but also of costs, without forgetting maintenance. Currently, the exterior is finished, the only thing missing is the interior.
